ਕਬੀਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਿਮਰਨੀ ਰਸਨਾ ਊਪਰਿ ਰਾਮੁ ॥
Kabeer Maeree Simaranee Rasanaa Oopar Raam ||
कबीर मेरी सिमरनी रसना ऊपरि रामु ॥
Kabeer my rosary is my tongue upon which the Lord's Name is strung.
ਆਦਿ ਜੁਗਾਦੀ ਸਗਲ ਭਗਤ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਸੁਖੁ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮੁ ॥੧॥
Aadh Jugaadhee Sagal Bhagath Thaa Ko Sukh Bisraam ||1||
आदि जुगादी सगल भगत ता को सुखु बिस्रामु ॥१॥
From the very beginning, and throughout the ages, all the devotees abide in tranquil peace. ||1||
ਕਬੀਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਕਉ ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਹਸਨੇਹਾਰੁ ॥
Kabeer Maeree Jaath Ko Sabh Ko Hasanaehaar ||
कबीर मेरी जाति कउ सभु को हसनेहारु ॥
Kabeer, everyone laughs at my social class.
ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਇਸ ਜਾਤਿ ਕਉ ਜਿਹ ਜਪਿਓ ਸਿਰਜਨਹਾਰੁ ॥੨॥
Balihaaree Eis Jaath Ko Jih Japiou Sirajanehaar ||2||
बलिहारी इस जाति कउ जिह जपिओ सिरजनहारु ॥२॥
I am a sacrifice to this social class, in which I chant and meditate on the Creator. ||2||
ਕਬੀਰ ਡਗਮਗ ਕਿਆ ਕਰਹਿ ਕਹਾ ਡੁਲਾਵਹਿ ਜੀਉ ॥
Kabeer Ddagamag Kiaa Karehi Kehaa Ddulaavehi Jeeo ||
कबीर डगमग किआ करहि कहा डुलावहि जीउ ॥
Kabeer, why do you stumble? Why does your soul waver?
ਸਰਬ ਸੂਖ ਕੋ ਨਾਇਕੋ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਰਸੁ ਪੀਉ ॥੩॥
Sarab Sookh Ko Naaeiko Raam Naam Ras Peeo ||3||
सरब सूख को नाइको राम नाम रसु पीउ ॥३॥
He is the Lord of all comforts and peace; drink in the Sublime Essence of the Lord's Name. ||3||
ਕਬੀਰ ਕੰਚਨ ਕੇ ਕੁੰਡਲ ਬਨੇ ਊਪਰਿ ਲਾਲ ਜੜਾਉ ॥
Kabeer Kanchan Kae Kunddal Banae Oopar Laal Jarraao ||
कबीर कंचन के कुंडल बने ऊपरि लाल जड़ाउ ॥
Kabeer, earrings made of gold and studded with jewels,
ਦੀਸਹਿ ਦਾਧੇ ਕਾਨ ਜਿਉ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਮਨਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਨਾਉ ॥੪॥
Dheesehi Dhaadhhae Kaan Jio Jinh Man Naahee Naao ||4||
दीसहि दाधे कान जिउ जिन्ह मनि नाही नाउ ॥४॥
Look like burnt twigs, if the Name is not in the mind. ||4||
ਕਬੀਰ ਐਸਾ ਏਕੁ ਆਧੁ ਜੋ ਜੀਵਤ ਮਿਰਤਕੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Kabeer Aisaa Eaek Aadhh Jo Jeevath Mirathak Hoe ||
कबीर ऐसा एकु आधु जो जीवत मिरतकु होइ ॥
Kabeer, rare is such a person, who remains dead while yet alive.
ਨਿਰਭੈ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਗੁਨ ਰਵੈ ਜਤ ਪੇਖਉ ਤਤ ਸੋਇ ॥੫॥
Nirabhai Hoe Kai Gun Ravai Jath Paekho Thath Soe ||5||
निरभै होइ कै गुन रवै जत पेखउ तत सोइ ॥५॥
Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, he is fearless. Wherever I look, the Lord is there. ||5||
ਕਬੀਰ ਜਾ ਦਿਨ ਹਉ ਮੂਆ ਪਾਛੈ ਭਇਆ ਅਨੰਦੁ ॥
Kabeer Jaa Dhin Ho Mooaa Paashhai Bhaeiaa Anandh ||
कबीर जा दिन हउ मूआ पाछै भइआ अनंदु ॥
Kabeer, on the day when I die, afterwards there shall be bliss.
ਮੋਹਿ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਨਾ ਸੰਗੀ ਭਜਹਿ ਗਬਿੰਦੁ ॥੬॥
Mohi Miliou Prabh Aapanaa Sangee Bhajehi Guobindh ||6||
मोहि मिलिओ प्रभु आपना संगी भजहि गोबिंदु ॥६॥
I shall meet with my Lord God. Those with me shall meditate and vibrate on the Lord of the Universe. ||6||
ਕਬੀਰ ਸਭ ਤੇ ਹਮ ਬੁਰੇ ਹਮ ਤਜਿ ਭਲੋ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਇ ॥
Kabeer Sabh Thae Ham Burae Ham Thaj Bhalo Sabh Koe ||
कबीर सभ ते हम बुरे हम तजि भलो सभु कोइ ॥
Kabeer, I am the worst of all. Everyone else is good.
ਜਿਨਿ ਐਸਾ ਕਰਿ ਬੂਝਿਆ ਮੀਤੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਸੋਇ ॥੭॥
Jin Aisaa Kar Boojhiaa Meeth Hamaaraa Soe ||7||
जिनि ऐसा करि बूझिआ मीतु हमारा सोइ ॥७॥
Whoever understands this is a friend of mine. ||7||
ਕਬੀਰ ਆਈ ਮੁਝਹਿ ਪਹਿ ਅਨਿਕ ਕਰੇ ਕਰਿ ਭੇਸ ॥
Kabeer Aaee Mujhehi Pehi Anik Karae Kar Bhaes ||
कबीर आई मुझहि पहि अनिक करे करि भेस ॥
Kabeer, she came to me in various forms and disguises.
ਹਮ ਰਾਖੇ ਗੁਰ ਆਪਨੇ ਉਨਿ ਕੀਨੋ ਆਦੇਸੁ ॥੮॥
Ham Raakhae Gur Aapanae Oun Keeno Aadhaes ||8||
हम राखे गुर आपने उनि कीनो आदेसु ॥८॥
My Guru saved me, and now she bows humbly to me. ||8||
ਕਬੀਰ ਸੋਈ ਮਾਰੀਐ ਜਿਹ ਮੂਐ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Kabeer Soee Maareeai Jih Mooai Sukh Hoe ||
कबीर सोई मारीऐ जिह मूऐ सुखु होइ ॥
Kabeer, kill only that, which, when killed, shall bring peace.
ਭਲੋ ਭਲੋ ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਕਹੈ ਬੁਰੋ ਨ ਮਾਨੈ ਕੋਇ ॥੯॥
Bhalo Bhalo Sabh Ko Kehai Buro N Maanai Koe ||9||
भलो भलो सभु को कहै बुरो न मानै कोइ ॥९॥
Everyone shall call you good, very good, and no one shall think you are bad. ||9||
ਕਬੀਰ ਰਾਤੀ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਕਾਰੀਆ ਕਾਰੇ ਊਭੇ ਜੰਤ ॥
Kabeer Raathee Hovehi Kaareeaa Kaarae Oobhae Janth ||
कबीर राती होवहि कारीआ कारे ऊभे जंत ॥
Kabeer, the night is dark, and men go about doing their dark deeds.
ਲੈ ਫਾਹੇ ਉਠਿ ਧਾਵਤੇ ਸਿ ਜਾਨਿ ਮਾਰੇ ਭਗਵੰਤ ॥੧੦॥
Lai Faahae Outh Dhhaavathae S Jaan Maarae Bhagavanth ||10||
लै फाहे उठि धावते सि जानि मारे भगवंत ॥१०॥
They take the noose and run around; but rest assured that God shall destroy them. ||10||
ਕਬੀਰ ਚੰਦਨ ਕਾ ਬਿਰਵਾ ਭਲਾ ਬੇੜ੍ਹ੍ਹਿਓ ਢਾਕ ਪਲਾਸ ॥
Kabeer Chandhan Kaa Biravaa Bhalaa Baerrihou Dtaak Palaas ||
कबीर चंदन का बिरवा भला बेड़्हिओ ढाक पलास ॥
Kabeer, the sandalwood tree is good, even though it is surrounded by weeds.
ਓਇ ਭੀ ਚੰਦਨੁ ਹੋਇ ਰਹੇ ਬਸੇ ਜੁ ਚੰਦਨ ਪਾਸਿ ॥੧੧॥
Oue Bhee Chandhan Hoe Rehae Basae J Chandhan Paas ||11||
ओइ भी चंदनु होइ रहे बसे जु चंदन पासि ॥११॥
Those who dwell near the sandalwood tree, become just like the sandalwood tree. ||11||
ਕਬੀਰ ਬਾਂਸੁ ਬਡਾਈ ਬੂਡਿਆ ਇਉ ਮਤ ਡੂਬਹੁ ਕੋਇ ॥
Kabeer Baans Baddaaee Booddiaa Eio Math Ddoobahu Koe ||
कबीर बांसु बडाई बूडिआ इउ मत डूबहु कोइ ॥
Kabeer, the bamboo is drowned in its egotistical pride. No one should drown like this.
