ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਉਂ
੨੨ : ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਉਂ
ਚਾਰੇ ਜਾਗੇ ਚਹੁ ਜੁਗੀ ਪੰਚਾਇਣੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪੇ ਹੋਆ।
Chaaray Jaagay Chahu Jougee Panchaainu Prabhu Aapay Hoaa.
चारे जागे चहु जुगी पंचाइणु प्रभु आपे होआ ।
God himself is the justice for the disputes about the duties of the four Ages.
1 ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੧ ਪਉੜੀ ੨੨ ਪੰ. ੧
ਆਪੇ ਪਟੀ ਕਲਮਿ ਆਪਿ ਆਪੇ ਲਿਖਣਿਹਾਰਾ ਹੋਆ।
Aapay Patee Kalami Aapi Aapay Likhanihaaraa Hoaa.
आपे पटी कलमि आपि आपे लिखणिहारा होआ ।
He himself id the paper, the pen and the scribe.
2 ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੧ ਪਉੜੀ ੨੨ ਪੰ. ੨
ਬਾਝੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਧੇਰੁ ਹੈ ਖਹਿ ਖਹਿ ਮਰਦੇ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਲੋਆ।
Baajhu Guroo Andhayru Hai Khahi Khahi Maraday Bahu Bidhi Loaa.
बाझु गुरू अंधेरु है खहि खहि मरदे बहु बिधि लोआ ।
Without Guru is all darkness and people are killing one another.
3 ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੧ ਪਉੜੀ ੨੨ ਪੰ. ੩
ਵਰਤਿਆ ਪਾਪੁ ਜਗਤ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਧਉਲ ਉਡੀਣਾ ਨਿਸਿਦਿਨ ਰੋਆ।
Varatiaa Paapu Jagatri Tay Dhaulu Udeenaa Nisidini Roaa.
वरतिआ पापु जगत्रि ते धउलु उडीणा निसिदिनि रोआ ।
The sin pervades all around and the (mythological) ox supporting the earth is weeping and wailing day and night.
4 ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੧ ਪਉੜੀ ੨੨ ਪੰ. ੪
ਬਾਝੁ ਦਇਆ ਬਲਹੀਣ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਘਰ ਚਲੇ ਰਸਾਤਲਿ ਟੋਆ।
Baajhu Daiaa Balaheen Hou Nigharu Chalau Rasaatali Toaa.
बाझु दइआ बलहीण होउ निघरु चलौ रसातलि टोआ ।
Without compassion, getting unnerved, it is descending towards nether world to get lost.
5 ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੧ ਪਉੜੀ ੨੨ ਪੰ. ੫
ਖੜਾ ਇਕਤੇ ਪੈਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਪਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਬਹੁ ਭਾਰਾ ਹੋਆ।
Kharhaa Ikatay Pairi Tay Paap Sangi Bahu Bhaaraa Hoaa.
खड़ा इकते पैरि ते पाप संगि बहु भारा होआ ।
Standing on one foot, it is feeling the load of sins.
6 ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੧ ਪਉੜੀ ੨੨ ਪੰ. ੬
ਥੰਮੇ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਸਾਧੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਾਧੁ ਨ ਦਿਸੈ ਜਗਿ ਵਿਚਿ ਕੋਆ।
Danmay Koi N Saadhu Bin Saadhu N Disai Jagi Vich Koaa.
थंमे कोइ न साधु बिन साधु न दिसै जगि विच कोआ ।
Now this earth cannot be upheld without the saints and no saint is available in the world.
7 ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੧ ਪਉੜੀ ੨੨ ਪੰ. ੭
ਧਰਮ ਧਉਲ ਪੁਕਾਰੇ ਤਲੈ ਖੜੋਆ ॥੨੨॥
Dharam Dhaulu Poukaarai Talai Kharhoaa ॥22॥
धरम धउलु पुकारै तलै खड़ोआ ॥२२॥
Religion in the form of ox is crying beneath.
8 ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੧ ਪਉੜੀ ੨੨ ਪੰ. ੮
