ਉੁਠਿ ਪ੍ਰ੍ਰ੍ਰਭਾਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਹਿਤ ਚੀਤ ॥ (੧)

Uutdi Prrrabhaati Karay Hit Cheet ॥ (੧)

उुठि प्र्र्रभाति करे हित चीत ॥ (१)

Getting up early in the morning, conceive God in the mind.(1)

5 ਭਾਈ ਨੰਦ ਲਾਲ : ਰਹਿਤ ਨਾਮਾ ਪੰ. 5

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਪੁਨ ਮੁੰਤਰਹ ਜਾਪ

Vaahiguroo Pun Muntarah Jaapa

वाहिगुरू पुन मुंतरह जाप

Then recite the incantation of Waheguru, the Supreme Being,

6 ਭਾਈ ਨੰਦ ਲਾਲ : ਰਹਿਤ ਨਾਮਾ ਪੰ. 6

ਕਰਿ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਪੜ੍ਹ੍ਹ੍ਹੇ ਜਪੁ ਜਾਪ ॥ (੨)

Kari Isaanaan Parhhhhay Japu Jaap ॥ (੨)

करि इस़नान पड़्ह्ह्हे जपु जाप ॥ (२)

And after ablution, read and recount Jap Jaap.(2)

7 ਭਾਈ ਨੰਦ ਲਾਲ : ਰਹਿਤ ਨਾਮਾ ਪੰ. 7

ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੁਨ ਆਏੇ

Darasaan Karay Mayraa Pun Aaayay

दरस़न करे मेरा पुन आएे

Then come and have the Darshan (glimpse) of mine,

8 ਭਾਈ ਨੰਦ ਲਾਲ : ਰਹਿਤ ਨਾਮਾ ਪੰ. 8

ਅਦਬ ਸਿਉੁਂ ਬੈਠ ਗੁਰ ਹਿਤ ਚਿਤ ਲਾਏੇ ॥ (੩)

Adab Siuun Baitd Gur Hit Chit Laaayay ॥ (੩)

अदब सिउुं बैठ गुर हित चित लाएे ॥ (३)

And sit there reverentially with profound attention to the Guru.(3)

ਤੀਨ ਪਹਿਰ ਜਬ ਬੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ

तीन पहिर जब बीते जाण

When the three watches of the day have gone past,
