ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਏਹੁ ਮਹਾ ਰਸੁ ਜਨਹਿ ਪੀਓ ॥
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਚੂਕੇ ਭੈ ਭਾਰੇ ਦੁਰਤੁ ਬਿਨਾਸਿਓ ਭਰਮੁ ਬੀਓ ॥੧॥
ਦਰਸਨੁ ਪੇਖਤ ਮੈ ਜੀਓ ॥
ਸੁਨਿ ਕਰਿ ਬਚਨ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਠਾਰੁ ਥੀਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਤੇ ਭਇਓ ਸਾਧਸੰਗੁ ਏਹੁ ਕਾਜੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਆਪਿ ਕੀਓ ॥
ਦਿੜੁ ਕਰਿ ਚਰਣ ਗਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਰੇ ਸਹਜੇ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਭਈ ਖੀਓ ॥੨॥
ਸੁਖ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਨਾਮੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਮਰਾ ਏਹੁ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਲੀਓ ॥
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਮੋਹਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਨਾ ਤਾਪੁ ਸੰਤਾਪੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਬੈਰੁ ਗੀਓ ॥੩॥
ਧੰਨੁ ਸੁ ਮਾਣਸ ਦੇਹੀ ਪਾਈ ਜਿਤੁ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪਨੈ ਮੇਲਿ ਲੀਓ ॥
ਧੰਨੁ ਸੁ ਕਲਿਜੁਗੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਗਾਈਐ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ ਹੀਓ ॥੪॥੮॥੪੭॥

Your Name is Ambrosial Nectar, O Lord Master; Your humble servant drinks in this supreme elixir.
The fearful load of sins from countless incarnations has vanished; doubt and duality are also dispelled. ||1||
I live by beholding the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan.
Listening to Your Words, O True Guru, my mind and body are cooled and soothed. ||1||Pause||
By Your Grace, I have joined the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; You Yourself have caused this to happen.
Holding fast to Your Feet, O God, the poison is easily neutralized. ||2||
Your Name, O God, is the treasure of peace; I have received this everlasting Mantra.
Showing His Mercy, the True Guru has given it to me, and my fever and pain and hatred are annulled. ||3||
Blessed is the attainment of this human body, by which God blends Himself with me.
Blessed, in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga, is the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, where the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises are sung.O Nanak, the Naam is my only Support. ||4||8||47||

nullnullਹੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ! ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਜਲ ਹੈ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ) ਇਹ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ-ਰਸ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾਸ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਪੀਤਾ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਪੀਤਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਜਨਮਾਂ ਜਨਮਾਂਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਤੇ (ਕੀਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ) ਭਾਰ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਏ, (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਪਾਪ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਦੂਜੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ) ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ ॥੧॥nullਹੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ! ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਮੇਰਾ ਤਨ ਠੰਡਾ-ਠਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥nullਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਹੋਈ, ਇਹ (ਸੋਹਣਾ) ਕੰਮ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ, (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਂ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨ ਘੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਫੜ ਲਏ, ਮੈਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ (ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੨॥nullਹੇ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਕਦੇ ਨਾਹ ਨਾਸ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ-ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੈਂ ਜਪਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਤੇਰਾ ਇਹ ਨਾਮ-ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ (ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ (ਹਰੇਕ ਕਿਸਮ ਦਾ) ਦੁੱਖ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਵੈਰ-ਵਿਰੋਧ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ॥੩॥nullਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜ ਲਿਆ (ਲੋਕ ਕਲਿਜੁਗ ਨੂੰ ਨਿੰਦਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ) ਇਹ ਕਲਿਜੁਗ ਭੀ ਮੁਬਾਰਿਕ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਏ ਤੇ ਜੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇ ॥੪॥੮॥੪੭॥
