ਜਾ ਕਾ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਤੁਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਵਡਭਾਗਾ ॥
ਓਹੁ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ਸਦ ਸੁਖੀ ਸਭੁ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਭਾਗਾ ॥੧॥
ਹਮ ਚਾਕਰ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਕੇ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਭਾਰਾ ॥
ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਧਿ ਸੋ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਦੂਜਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਅਉਰੁ ਕੋ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਭਉ ਕਰੀਐ ॥
ਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਮਹਲੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਜਗੁ ਦੁਤਰੁ ਤਰੀਐ ॥੨॥
ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਨਿਧਾਨਾ ॥
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਤੁਮ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਭਏ ਸੇਵਕ ਸੇ ਪਰਵਾਨਾ ॥੩॥
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੋ ਕੋ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਪੀਵੈ ॥
ਵਜਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਿਲੈ ਏਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਿਦ ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਜੀਵੈ ॥੪॥੧੪॥੧੧੬॥

Aasaa, Fifth Mehl:
One who has You as His Master, O God, is blessed with great destiny.
He is happy, and forever at peace; his doubts and fears are all dispelled. ||1||
I am the slave of the Lord of the Universe; my Master is the greatest of all.
He is the Creator, the Cause of causes; He is my True Guru. ||1||Pause||
There is no other whom I should fear.
Serving the Guru, the Mansion of the Lord's Presence is obtained, and the impassable world-ocean is crossed over. ||2||
By Your Glance of Grace, peace is obtained, and the treasure fills the mind.
That servant, unto whom You bestow Your Mercy, is approved and accepted. ||3||
How rare is that person who drinks in the Ambrosial Essence of the Lord's Kirtan.
Nanak has obtained the commodity of the One Name; he lives by chanting and meditating on it within his heart. ||4||14||116||

nullnullਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗ (ਸਮਝਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ) ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਸੌਖਾ (ਜੀਵਨ ਬਿਤੀਤ ਕਰਦਾ) ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੀ (ਰਹਿੰਦਾ) ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਕਿਸਮ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਤੇ ਭਰਮ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥null(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਉਹ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ (ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ) ਸਾਰੇ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ (ਸਭ ਕੁਝ) ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ) ਕਰਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ-ਰਾਹ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥null(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਏ। (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਦੱਸੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ (-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ) ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ (ਉਂਞ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਣਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਔਖਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥nullਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਖ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ-) ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਕਬੂਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩॥nullਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਰਸ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ (ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ) ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਹ (ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸ) ਪੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-ਜਿਸ ਨੌਕਰ ਨੂੰ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਵਜ਼ੀਫ਼ਾ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਨਾਮ ਸਦਾ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧੪॥੧੧੬॥
