ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ॥
ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਤੁਮਰਾ ਮਾਲਾ ॥੧॥
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਲੈ ਜਪਿ ਨਾਲਾ ॥

I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe, the Merciful Lord.
Please, bless me with the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, O Perfect, Compassionate Lord. ||Pause||
Please, grant Your Grace, and cherish me.
My soul and body are all Your property. ||1||
Only meditation on the Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord, will go along with you.

nullnullਹੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ! ਹੇ ਦਇਆਲ! ਹੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ! (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ) ਦਰਸਨ ਦੇਹ, ਮੈਂ (ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੇ) ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ ਰਹਾਉ॥nullਹੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ! ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ) ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਇਹ ਜਿੰਦ ਇਹ ਸਰੀਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਤੇਰੀ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਰਾਸ-ਪੂੰਜੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥nullਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ (ਸਦਾ) ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ (ਇਹੀ ਇਥੋਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ) ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨਾਨਕ (ਭੀ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੨॥੩੨॥੩੮॥
