The Creator comes, and the Creator also goes.
The Creator is absolute and without qualities; the Creator is related, with the most excellent qualities.

ਰਾਗ ਗੋਂਡ, ਘਰ ੧ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਚਾਰ-ਬੰਦਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਾਣੀ।ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਚੀਜ਼ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, (ਤੇ ਸਭ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਹੀ) ਹਰੇਕ ਚੀਜ਼ ਭੋਗਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥nullnullnull(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਹਰੇਕ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਸੁਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਦਿੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਭੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦਾ ਰੂਪ) ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਅਨਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਜਗਤ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਭੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦਾ ਹੀ ਰੂਪ) ਹੈ। (ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੀ) ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ (ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਭੀ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਹੈ, (ਸਭ ਦਾ) ਨਾਸ (ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਭੀ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸਭਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਭੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਹੈ, (ਅਤੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ) ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਭੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥nullnullnull(ਹਰੇਕ ਵਿਚ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਸਮਝਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਭੀ ਉਹੀ ਹੈ, ਇਥੋਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਭੀ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਭੀ ਹੈ, ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਭੀ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਵੇਖਣ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਸੂਝ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੧॥
