ਦੁਲਭ ਦੇਹ ਸਵਾਰਿ ॥
ਜਾਹਿ ਨ ਦਰਗਹ ਹਾਰਿ ॥
ਹਲਤਿ ਪਲਤਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਹੋਇ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
ਅੰਤ ਕੀ ਬੇਲਾ ਲਏ ਛਡਾਈ ॥੧॥
ਰਾਮ ਕੇ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਉ ॥
ਹਲਤੁ ਪਲਤੁ ਹੋਹਿ ਦੋਵੈ ਸੁਹੇਲੇ ਅਚਰਜ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਧਿਆਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਊਠਤ ਬੈਠਤ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪੁ ॥
ਬਿਨਸੈ ਸਗਲ ਸੰਤਾਪੁ ॥
ਬੈਰੀ ਸਭਿ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਮੀਤ ॥
ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੋਵੈ ਚੀਤ ॥੨॥
ਸਭ ਤੇ ਊਤਮ ਇਹੁ ਕਰਮੁ ॥
ਸਗਲ ਧਰਮ ਮਹਿ ਸ੍ਰੇਸਟ ਧਰਮੁ ॥
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੋਇ ਉਧਾਰੁ ॥
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕਾ ਉਤਰੈ ਭਾਰੁ ॥੩॥
ਪੂਰਨ ਤੇਰੀ ਹੋਵੈ ਆਸ ॥
ਜਮ ਕੀ ਕਟੀਐ ਤੇਰੀ ਫਾਸ ॥
ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਸੁਨੀਜੈ ॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮੀਜੈ ॥੪॥੩੦॥੪੧॥

Raamkalee, Fifth Mehl:
Make this invaluable human life fruitful.
You shall not be destroyed when you go to the Lord's Court.
In this world and the next, you shall obtain honor and glory.
At the very last moment, He will save you. ||1||
Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
In both this world and the next, you shall be embellished with beauty, meditating on the wondrous Primal Lord God. ||1||Pause||
While standing up and sitting down, meditate on the Lord,
And all your troubles shall depart.
All your enemies will become friends.
Your consciousness shall be immaculate and pure. ||2||
This is the most exalted deed.
Of all faiths, this is the most sublime and excellent faith.
Meditating in remembrance on the Lord, you shall be saved.
You shall be rid of the burden of countless incarnations. ||3||
Your hopes shall be fulfilled,
And the noose of the Messenger of Death will be cut away.
So listen to the Guru's Teachings.
O Nanak, you shall be absorbed in celestial peace. ||4||30||41||

nullnullnullnull(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾ ਕੇ) ਇਸ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਕਰ ਲੈ ਜੋ ਬੜੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਇਥੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਦੀ ਬਾਜੀ) ਹਾਰ ਕੇ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਏਂਗਾ; ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਸੋਭਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਭੀ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਛਡਾ ਲਏਗੀ ॥੧॥null(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇਆ ਕਰ, ਅਚਰਜ-ਰੂਪ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਿਆ ਕਰ, (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇਰਾ) ਇਹ ਲੋਕ (ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ) ਪਰਲੋਕ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸੁਖੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥nullnullnull(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਉਠਦਿਆਂ ਬੈਠਦਿਆਂ (ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ, (ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਸਾਰਾ ਦੁੱਖ-ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆਂ ਤੇਰੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ (ਤੇਰੇ) ਮਿੱਤਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਤੇਰਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ (ਵੈਰ ਆਦਿਕ ਤੋਂ) ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਏਗਾ ॥੨॥nullnullnull(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਹੀ) ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇਹੀ ਵਧੀਆ ਧਰਮ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਾਰ-ਉਤਾਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਏਗਾ। (ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜਨਮਾਂ (ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਲ) ਦਾ ਭਾਰ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥nullnullnull(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ) ਤੇਰੀ (ਹਰੇਕ) ਆਸ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਏਗੀ, ਤੇਰੀ ਜਮਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਫਾਹੀ (ਭੀ) ਕੱਟੀ ਜਾਏਗੀ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ (ਇਹ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦਾ) ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ (ਸਦਾ) ਸੁਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਆਤਮਕ ਸੁਖ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੩੦॥੪੧॥
