You are my Sumayr Mountain, O my Lord and Master; I have grasped Your Support.

ਨਾ ਤੁਮ ਡੋਲਹੁ ਨਾ ਹਮ ਗਿਰਤੇ ਰਖਿ ਲੀਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਰੀ ॥੧॥

Na Thum Ddolahu Na Ham Girathae Rakh Leenee Har Maeree ||1||

You do not shake, and I do not fall. You have preserved my honor. ||1||

ਅਬ ਤਬ ਜਬ ਕਬ ਤੁਹੀ ਤੁਹੀ ॥

Ab Thab Jab Kab Thuhee Thuhee ||

Now and then, here and there, You, only You.

ਹਮ ਤੁਅ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਸੁਖੀ ਸਦ ਹੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਤੋਰੇ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਮਗਹਰ ਬਸਿਓ ਮੇਰੇ ਤਨ ਕੀ ਤਪਤਿ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥

Thorae Bharosae Magehar Basiou Maerae Than Kee Thapath Bujhaee ||

Relying upon You, I can live even in the cursed place of Magahar; You have put out the fire of my body.

ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਮਗਹਰ ਪਾਇਓ ਫੁਨਿ ਕਾਸੀ ਬਸੇ ਆਈ ॥੨॥

Pehilae Dharasan Magehar Paeiou Fun Kasee Basae Aee ||2||

First, I obtained the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan in Magahar; then, I came to dwell at Benares. ||2||

ਜੈਸਾ ਮਗਹਰੁ ਤੈਸੀ ਕਾਸੀ ਹਮ ਏਕੈ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਨੀ ॥

Jaisa Magehar Thaisee Kasee Ham Eaekai Kar Janee ||

As is Magahar, so is Benares; I see them as one and the same.

ਹਮ ਨਿਰਧਨ ਜਿਉ ਇਹੁ ਧਨੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਮਰਤੇ ਫੂਟਿ ਗੁਮਾਨੀ ॥੩॥

Ham Niradhhan Jio Eihu Dhhan Paeia Marathae Foott Gumanee ||3||

I am poor, but I have obtained this wealth of the Lord; the proud are bursting with pride, and die. ||3||

ਕਰੈ ਗੁਮਾਨੁ ਚੁਭਹਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਸੂਲਾ ਕੋ ਕਾਢਨ ਕਉ ਨਾਹੀ ॥

Karai Guman Chubhehi This Soola Ko Kadtan Ko Nahee ||

One who takes pride in himself is stuck with thorns; no one can pull them out.

ਅਜੈ ਸੁ ਚੋਭ ਕਉ ਬਿਲਲ ਬਿਲਾਤੇ ਨਰਕੇ ਘੋਰ ਪਚਾਹੀ ॥੪॥

Ajai S Chobh Ko Bilal Bilathae Narakae Ghor Pachahee ||4||

Here, he cries bitterly, and hereafter, he burns in the most hideous hell. ||4||

ਕਵਨੁ ਨਰਕੁ ਕਿਆ ਸੁਰਗੁ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ਸੰਤਨ ਦੋਊ ਰਾਦੇ ॥

Kavan Narak Kia Surag Bichara Santhan Dhooo Radhae ||

What is hell, and what is heaven? The Saints reject them both.

ਹਮ ਕਾਹੂ ਕੀ ਕਾਣਿ ਨ ਕਢਤੇ ਅਪਨੇ ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੇ ॥੫॥

Ham Kahoo Kee Kan N Kadtathae Apanae Gur Parasadhae ||5||

I have no obligation to either of them, by the Grace of my Guru. ||5||

ਅਬ ਤਉ ਜਾਇ ਚਢੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਨਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਹੈ ਸਾਰਿੰਗਪਾਨੀ ॥

Ab Tho Jae Chadtae Singhasan Milae Hai Saringapanee ||

Now, I have mounted to the throne of the Lord; I have met the Lord, the Sustainer of the World.

ਰਾਮ ਕਬੀਰਾ ਏਕ ਭਏ ਹੈ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਪਛਾਨੀ ॥੬॥੩॥

Ram Kabeera Eaek Bheae Hai Koe N Sakai Pashhanee ||6||3||

The Lord and Kabeer have become one. No one can tell them apart. ||6||3||
