Phokatta Karma Drirhaata Kahaa Ein Logan Ko Koeee Kaam Na Aai Hai ॥

Why do you tell repeatedly to these people for performing the actions of heresy? These works will not be of any use to them

ਚਟਪਟਾਇ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਜਰਯੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਣ ਜਯੋਂ ਕ੍ਰੁੱਧਤ ਹੋਇ ॥

Chattapattaaei Chita Mai Jaryo Trin Jayona Karu`dhata Hoei ॥

Just as the straws while burning in ire are flabbergasted, in the same way,

ਭਾਜਤ ਕਾ ਧਨ ਹੇਤ ਅਰੇ ਜਮ ਕਿੰਕਰ ਤੇ ਨਹ ਭਾਜਨ ਪੈ ਹੈ ॥

Bhaajata Kaa Dhan Heta Are Jama Kiaankar Te Naha Bhaajan Pai Hai ॥

Why are you running hither and thither for wealth? You may do anything, but you will bot be able to escape from the noose of Yama

Even you son, wife an friend will not bear witness to you and none of them will speak for you

ਚੇਤ ਰੇ ਚੇਤ ਅਚੇਤ ਮਹਾ ਪਸੁ ਅੰਤ ਕੀ ਬਾਰ ਇਕੇਲੋ ਈ ਜੈ ਹੈ ॥੩੨॥

Cheta Re Cheta Acheta Mahaa Pasu Aanta Kee Baara Eikelo Eee Jai Hai ॥32॥

Therefore, O fool ! take care of yourself even now, because ultimately you will have to go alone.32.

ਤੋ ਤਨ ਤਯਾਗਤ ਹੀ ਸੁਨ ਰੇ ਜੜ ਪ੍ਰੇਤ ਬਖਾਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਆ ਭਜਿ ਜੈ ਹੈ ॥

To Tan Tayaagata Hee Suna Re Jarha Pareta Bakhaan Triaa Bhaji Jai Hai ॥

After abandoning the body, O fool ! Your wife will also run away calling you a ghost

ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਕਲਤ੍ਰ ਸੁ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਖਾ ਇਹ ਬੇਗ ਨਿਕਾਰਹੁ ਆਇਸੁ ਦੈ ਹੈ ॥

Putar Kalatar Su Mitar Sakhaa Eih Bega Nikaarahu Aaeisu Dai Hai ॥

The son, wife and friend, all will say that you should be taken out immediately and cause you to go to the cemetery

ਭਉਨ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਧਰਾ ਗੜ ਜੇਤਕ ਛਾਡਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਬਿਗਾਨ ਕਹੈ ਹੈ ॥

Bhauna Bhaandaara Dharaa Garha Jetaka Chhaadata Paraan Bigaan Kahai Hai ॥

After passing away, the home, shore and earth will become alien, therefore,

ਚੇਤ ਰੇ ਚੇਤ ਅਚੇਤ ਮਹਾ ਪਸੁ ਅੰਤ ਕੀ ਬਾਰਿ ਇਕੇਲੋ ਈ ਜੈ ਹੈ ॥੩੩॥

O great animal ! take care of yourself even now, because ultimately you have to go alone.33.

Jo Kichhu Lekhu Likhiao Bidhanaa Soeee Paayatu Misar Joo Soka Nivaaro ॥

O friend ! whatever the providence has recorded, it will surely happen, therefore, forsake your sorrow

ਮੇਰੋ ਕਛੂ ਅਪਰਾਧੁ ਨਹੀ ਗਯੋ ਯਾਦ ਤੇ ਭੂਲ ਨਹ ਕੋਪੁ ਚਿਤਾਰੋ ॥

Mero Kachhoo Aparaadhu Nahee Gayo Yaada Te Bhoola Naha Kopu Chitaaro ॥

ਬਾਗੋ ਨਿਹਾਲੀ ਪਠੈ ਦੈਹੋ ਆਜੁ ਭਲੇ ਤੁਮ ਕੋ ਨਿਹਚੈ ਜੀਅ ਧਾਰੋ ॥

Baago Nihaalee Patthai Daiho Aaju Bhale Tuma Ko Nihchai Jeea Dhaaro ॥

ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਸਭੈ ਭ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਿੱਪਨ ਕੇ ਇਨਹੂ ਪੈ ਕਟਾਛ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕੈ ਨਿਹਾਰੋ ॥੧॥

Chhataree Sabhai Bhrita Bi`pan Ke Einhoo Pai Kattaachha Kripaa Kai Nihaaro ॥1॥

Do not be anxious about that, the Kshatriyas had been performing the jobs for the Brahmins now be kind to them, looking towards them.1.

ਜੁੱਧ ਜਿਤੇ ਇਨਹੀ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਇਨਹੀ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਸੁ ਦਾਨ ਕਰੇ ॥

Ju`dha Jite Einhee Ke Parsaadi Einhee Ke Parsaadi Su Daan Kare ॥

By the kindness of these Sikhs, I have conquered the wars and also by their kindness, I have bestowed charities

ਅਘ ਅਉਘ ਟਰੈ ਇਨਹੀ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਇਨਹੀ ਕੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਫੁਨ ਧਾਮ ਭਰੇ ॥

Agha Aaugha Ttari Einhee Ke Parsaadi Einhee Kee Kripaa Phuna Dhaam Bhare ॥

By their kindness the clusters on sins have been destroyed and by their kindness my house is full of wealth and materials

ਇਨਹੀ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਸੁ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਲਈ ਇਨਹੀ ਕੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਸਭ ਸਤ੍ਰ ਮਰੇ ॥

Einhee Ke Parsaadi Su Bidiaa Laeee Einhee Kee Kripaa Sabha Satar Mare ॥

By their kindness I have received education and by their kindness all my enemies have been destroyed

ਇਨਹੀ ਕੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕੇ ਸਜੇ ਹਮ ਹੈ ਨਹੀ ਮੋ ਸੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਕਰੋਰ ਪਰੇ ॥੨॥

Einhee Kee Kripaa Ke Saje Hama Hai Nahee Mo Se Gareeba Karora Pare ॥2॥

By their kindness I have been greatly adorned, otherwise there kindness I have been greatly adorned, otherwise there are crores of humble person like me.

ਸੇਵ ਕਰੀ ਇਨਹੀ ਕੀ ਭਾਵਤ ਅਉਰ ਕੀ ਸੇਵ ਸੁਹਾਤ ਨ ਜੀਕੋ ॥

Seva Karee Einhee Kee Bhaavata Aaur Kee Seva Suhaata Na Jeeko ॥

I like to serve them and my mind is not pleased to serve others

ਦਾਨ ਦਯੋ ਇਨਹੀ ਕੋ ਭਲੋ ਅਰੁ ਆਨ ਕੋ ਦਾਨ ਨ ਲਾਗਤ ਨੀਕੋ ॥

Daan Dayo Einhee Ko Bhalo Aru Aan Ko Daan Na Laagata Neeko ॥

The charities bestowed on them are really good and the charities given to others do not appear to be nice

ਆਗੈ ਫਲੈ ਇਨਹੀ ਕੋ ਦਯੋ ਜਗ ਮੈ ਜਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਦਯੋ ਸਭ ਫੀਕੋ ॥

Aagai Phalai Einhee Ko Dayo Jaga Mai Jasu Aaur Dayo Sabha Pheeko ॥

The charities bestowed on them will bear fruit in future and the charities given to others in the world are unsavoury in front of donation given to them

ਮੋ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਮੈ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਮਨ ਤੇ ਸਿਰ ਲਉ ਧਨ ਹੈ ਸਬ ਹੀ ਇਨਹੀ ਕੋ ॥੩॥

Mo Griha Mai Tan Te Man Te Sri Lau Dhan Hai Saba Hee Einhee Ko ॥3॥

In my house, my mind, my body, my wealth and even my head everything belongs to them.3.
