The Minister of the people, after pondering over,

ਤਬੈ ਕਥਾ ਛਤੀਸਵੀ ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਕਹੀ ਸੁਧਾਰਿ ॥੧॥

ਤਵਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਕੋ ਤੁਰਤੁ ਹੀ ਡੋਗਰ ਘਾਉ ਉਬਾਰਿ ॥

Tvn Triyaa Ko Turtu Hee Dogar Ghaau Aubaari ॥

That Dogar, very shortly, killed his woman,

ਤਾਹਿ ਤੁਰਤੁ ਮਾਰਤ ਭਯੋ ਗਰੇ ਰਸਹਿਯ ਡਾਰਿ ॥੨॥

Taahi Turtu Maarata Bhayo Gare Rasahiya Daari ॥2॥

ਵਾ ਰਸਿਯਾ ਕਹ ਛਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਬਾਂਧਿਸਿ ਬਰੋ ਬਨਾਇ ॥

Vaa Rasiyaa Kaha Chhaani Kai Baandhisi Baro Banaaei ॥

ਆਪੁ ਊਚ ਕੂਕਤ ਭਯੋ ਲੋਗਨ ਸਭਨ ਸੁਨਾਇ ॥੩॥

ਨਿਜੁ ਦੇਹੀ ਕੋ ਘਾਵ ਦਿਖਾਯੋ ॥

Niju Dehee Ko Ghaava Dikhaayo ॥

ਪੁਨਿ ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਲੈ ਨਾਰਿ ਦਿਖਾਰੀ ॥

Puni Tin Ko Lai Naari Dikhaaree ॥

ਰੋਇ ਕੂਕ ਊਚੇ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਰੀ ॥੪॥

Roei Kooka Aooche Kari Maaree ॥4॥

ਅਧਿਕ ਸੋਕ ਚਿਤ ਮਾਝ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥

‘Pushing me on one side she put rope around her (throat) and headed towards the heavens.(5)

‘Wanting to have her calf, the buffalo had hit me,

ਘਾਵ ਭਯੋ ਤਰਵਾਰ ਸੋ ਕਹਾ ਬਤਾਊ ਤੋਹ ॥੬॥
