By stirring, she put poison in the food and all of them were killed.

Jaba Raajaa Joo Mrita Basi Bhaee ॥

ਤਬ ਹੀ ਪਕਰ ਰਸੋਯਾ ਲਏ ॥

Taba Hee Pakar Rasoyaa Laee ॥

When Raja had died, she called in the cook.

ਵਾਹੈ ਤਾਮ ਲੈ ਤਾਹਿ ਖੁਆਰਿਯੋ ॥

Vaahai Taam Lai Taahi Khuaariyo ॥

ਤਾਹੂ ਕੌ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਹਨਿ ਡਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੬॥

Taahoo Kou Taba Hee Hani Daariyo ॥6॥

She forced him to eat and he was killed too.(6)(1)

Every body knew that he had two wives.

ਲਾਡਮ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਸੁਹਾਗਮ ਦੇਈ ॥

Their names were Laadam Kunwar and Suhaag Devi and many other

ਜਿਨ ਤੇ ਬਹੁ ਸਿਛ੍ਯਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਲੇਈ ॥੧॥

When the Shah went abroad, they were very much afflicted.

ਬਹੁਤ ਕਾਲ ਪਰਦੇਸ ਬਿਤਾਯੋ ॥

Bahuta Kaal Pardesa Bitaayo ॥

ਖਾਟਿ ਕਮਾਇ ਦੇਸ ਕਹ ਆਯੋ ॥੨॥

Khaatti Kamaaei Desa Kaha Aayo ॥2॥

He remained abroad long time and then came back after earning lot of wealth.(2)

ਕਿਤਕ ਦਿਨਨ ਬਨਿਯਾ ਘਰ ਆਯੋ ॥

Kitaka Dinn Baniyaa Ghar Aayo ॥

ਦੁਹੂੰ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਨ ਪਕਵਾਨ ਪਕਾਯੋ ॥

Duhooaan Triyan Pakavaan Pakaayo ॥

When the Shah was to arrive back, both of them prepared dainty foods.

ਵਹੁ ਜਾਨੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਐਹੈ ॥

Vahu Jaani Mere Ghar Aaihi ॥

ਵਹ ਜਾਨੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਜੈਹੈ ॥੩॥

Vaha Jaani Mere Hee Jaihi ॥3॥

One thought he would come to her and other thought he would come to her.(3)

ਏਕ ਗਾਵ ਬਨਿਯਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਯੋ ॥

Eeka Gaava Baniyaa Rahi Gayo ॥

ਆਵਤ ਚੋਰ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਨ ਕੇ ਭਯੋ ॥

Aavata Chora Triyan Ke Bhayo ॥

The Shah was detained in a village on his way and, here, in the house of one lady, the thieves broke in.

ਜਾਗਤ ਹੇਰਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਹਿ ਨਹਿ ਆਯੋ ॥
