ਤੁਮ ਕੋ ਮਾਰਨ ਕੌ ਲੈ ਜੈਹੈਂ ॥

ਕਾਢਿ ਭਗਵੌਤੀ ਠਾਢੇ ਹ੍ਵੈਹੈਂ ॥

ਢੀਠਤੁ ਆਪਨ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਗਹਿਯਹੁ ॥

There lived a propitious Raja called Parbal Singh in the South who had lot of wealth.

ਚਾਰੁ ਚਛੁ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਰਹਈ ॥

ਜੋ ਵਹੁ ਕਹੈ ਸੁ ਰਾਜਾ ਕਰਈ ॥੧॥

Taa Ko Pattatar Kaa Ko Deejai ॥

As she was very pretty no body could compete with her.

ਰਾਜਾ ਅਧਿਕ ਪ੍ਯਾਰ ਤਿਹ ਰਾਖੈ ॥

Raajaa Adhika Paiaara Tih Raakhi ॥

ਕਟੁ ਬਚ ਕਦੀ ਨ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਭਾਖੈ ॥੨॥
