ਰਸਨਾ ਗੁਣ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਨਿਧਿ ਗਾਇਣ ॥
ਸਾਂਤਿ ਸਹਜੁ ਰਹਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਉਪਜਿਓ ਸਗਲੇ ਦੂਖ ਪਲਾਇਣ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਜੋ ਮਾਗਹਿ ਸੋਈ ਸੋਈ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਸੇਵਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਰਸਾਇਣ ॥
ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਹਹੂ ਤੇ ਛੂਟਹਿ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਜਗਤੁ ਤਰਾਇਣ ॥੧॥
ਖੋਜਤ ਖੋਜਤ ਤਤੁ ਬੀਚਾਰਿਓ ਦਾਸ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਪਰਾਇਣ ॥
ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਖੇਮ ਚਾਹਹਿ ਜੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ॥੨॥੫॥੧੦॥

Todee, Fifth Mehl:
My tongue sings the Praises of the Lord of the world, the ocean of virtue.
Peace, tranquility, poise and delight well up in my mind, and all sorrows run away. ||1||Pause||
Whatever I ask for, I receive; I serve at the Lord's feet, the source of nectar.
I am released from the bondage of birth and death, and so I cross over the terrifying world-ocean. ||1||
Searching and seeking, I have come to understand the essence of reality; the slave of the Lord of the Universe is dedicated to Him.
If you desire eternal bliss, O Nanak, ever remember the Lord in meditation. ||2||5||10||

nullnullਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ) ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਗਾਂਵਿਆਂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਸੁਖ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥nullਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਸੇਵ ਕੇ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਜੋ ਕੁਝ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਨਿਰਾ ਇਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਜਨਮ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥nullਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਖੋਜ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਅਸਲੀਅਤ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਆਸਰੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਨਾਹ ਮੁੱਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੁਖ ਲੋੜਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤਾਂ ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ ॥੨॥੫॥੧੦॥
